Using this website, the patient portal, and Concierge
These terms apply to nortonderm.com, the ModMed patient portal, and Concierge membership. ModMed handles the patient portal and medical payments. Concierge access is a separate signup, and Stripe handles that membership. This page is the Terms of Service URL registered with ModMed. By using the site, using the ModMed patient portal, or signing up for Concierge, you agree to these terms.
The chart of record
ModMed EMA is the legal medical record and the patient portal. This site composes Concierge membership, forms, Shop, and practice communications. It is not a second chart and does not replace the record in EMA. Medical payments stay in ModMed.
Accounts
You are responsible for the email and password you use to sign in. Do not share your login. Tell the practice if you believe someone else has used your account. The ModMed patient portal is the account for your chart and medical payments. Concierge access requires a separate membership signup on this site. Staff use Employee Sign In. We may suspend an account that is misused or that puts patient information at risk.
Concierge and payment
Concierge membership is a separate signup from the ModMed patient portal. Published Concierge fees buy enhanced access and coordination. They are not health insurance and do not replace amounts you owe for medical care. ModMed handles the patient portal and medical payments. Stripe handles Concierge membership on its hosted Checkout page. Card numbers are not collected on this website.
Text messages
Appointment texts are optional. Opt in or opt out on the web form at nortonderm.com/sms, by scanning the QR code on that page and submitting the form, on the communication consent form, or by text. Text START or JOIN to 304-381-1437 to opt in. Text STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to opt out. Text HELP or INFO for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. A text does not book, confirm, or cancel a visit. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of treatment.
Shop and content
Product pages describe SkinBetter Science and EltaMD Sun Care. A listed item is not a price until the practice has a live quote. Neurotoxins and fillers are clinic-only. Practice names, the wordmark, and page copy belong to Norton Dermatology & Wellness PLLC or their licensors and may not be copied for another business.
Acceptable use
Use the site only for lawful purposes related to your care or to learn about the practice. Do not attempt to access another person’s account or chart. Veloura photographs are taken in the medical office. Do not upload them to this public website, and do not download them from it. Do not scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a new version at /terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
